Psychosynthesis Exercises
Roberto Assagioli clearly stated that "training in psychosynthesis has no end" and that "At a certain point ... training guided by someone else is replaced by self-training." Whether you are working with a Psychosynthesis guide or decide to explore only the self-training aspect of Psychosynthesis, you can benefit from learning and understanding some of the basic practices and techniques that you can do for yourself.
I highly recommend that you choose one or more books about Psychosynthesis to read in addition to practicing the exercises. The background theory found in the books is highly beneficial and gives you additional information to help you put Psychosynthesis into action in your own life.
Although you can now easily access many Psychosynthesis resources and exercises in books and on the Internet, I still believe that there is an important place for one-one-one guided Psychosynthesis sessions and group work (such as workshops and comprehensive training courses). All offer a slightly different experience, which is important for a dynamic understanding of Psychosynthesis principles and techniques.
Before undertaking the exercises given below I suggest reading through my articles on the Principles of Psychosynthesis.
