Psychosynthesis Books
There are a number of good books available for anyone wishing to practice Psychosynthesis self-training. I will outline the ones that I believe people will find most useful for self-growth, and practicing Psychosynthesis self-training techniques. Although Roberto Assagioli's book Psychosynthesis is the primary source of his teachings on Psychosynthesis, it is not as accessible or practical as some of the recent books that have been published. Also, Assagioli wrote the book primarily for other psychiatrists and psychotherapists, and people wanting to put Psychosynthesis self-teaching into practice can benefit more from the newer books written with them in mind.
The Way Through: A Guide to Psychosynthesis in Everyday Life
By Jay Ray
Estimated Publication date: November 2009.
Jay Ray designed and facilitated the Focus Transpersonal Therapies Psychosynthesis course that I studied between 2002 and 2004. I can therefore personally recommend her lessons and techniques for personal Psychosynthesis. The Way Through is a workbook for anyone wanting to experience Psychosynthesis; it includes over 80 Psychosynthesis exercises, along with diagrams and easy to understand explanations on ways of understanding our psychological functions, problems, and experiences.
